The providers at Flagstaff Birth and Women’s Center are an in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), United Healthcare (UHC-commercial), CIGNA and AHCCCS (CareFirst and Health Choice).

 

Our Accredited and Licensed Outpatient Birth Facility is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), United Healthcare (UHC-commercial), and the Care 1st AHCCCS plan. (If you are on AHCCCS Health Choice, you can simply change to the Care 1st plan prior to delivery.) 

 

We continue to work diligently at becoming an in-network facility for all insurance companies. Our billing specialist, Kashuna Hopkins, can bill your private insurance as an “out-of-network” or you may be eligible for a “gap-exception” where the providers and birth center facility are considered “in-network” due to the unique specialty of our services.  

 

Our primary goal is to offer a comprehensive, affordable alternative to maternity and well-person care. More time is spent face-to-face with the client throughout pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period as well as annual exams allowing for a deeper sense of satisfaction in the entire experience.  Flagstaff Birth and Women’s Center works with both insured and uninsured clients. We are committed to making this service affordable for everyone.

 

Payment according to your plan with Flagstaff Birth and Women’s Center is due at the time of each visit.  We accept cash, checks, health savings accounts and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Discover).
 

For basic billing questions about out of pocket estimates or a current invoice, please call us at 928-556-0000. Please note that we can answer questions for FBWC-specific invoices only. Please call the specific lab or ultrasound location for any billing issues you may have with them.
