Annual Well-Visits and Paps
The Advanced Practice Midwives at Flagstaff Birth and Women’s Center offer holistic and preventative health care services with emphasis on alternative/complimentary health options, however if medication is needed we are happy to accommodate that as well. These time-intensive visits allow us to listen, share and learn from each other. Our services include:
* Complete history and physical exams
* Pap tests and breast exams
* Natural family planning and fertility awareness
* Contraceptives, including IUD's and prescription birth control methods
* Sexually transmitted infection screening and treatment
* Preconception counseling and laboratory testing
* Healthy diet and lifestyle education
* Menopause education and options
* LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC clients are welcome and treated with respect. Our midwives and staff are cognizant of institutional racism and bias associated with health disparities and are here for every person in our community.
* Other education and referrals as needed
